Zycus-Automotive Suite Deal Will Deliver SPM Innovation to Benefit Entire Auto Industry Supply Chain

PRINCETON, NJ – OCTOBER, 19, 2015 – Zycus a world leader in Procurement Technology solutions across the source-to-pay cycle, announced today that a major Tier 1 automotive industry supplier has selected and will soon begin implementation of its complete upstream suite of procurement automation solutions, including Spend Analysis, e-Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, and Financial Savings Management.

The deal enables substantial expansion to the Tier 1 automotive supplier’s capacities for spend analysis – greater depth and breadth of coverage, faster, more accurate, more precise spend visibility – plus retirement of several internally developed solutions, which had reached end of life, and automation of formerly manual procurement and supplier management processes.
In selecting a complete procurement automation suite, a truly global team of procurement executives conducted a comprehensive, hands-on evaluation, involving major procurement suite providers from all around the world. Key differentiators leading to the Zycus selection were: solution integration; ease of adoption and use; and Zycus’ willingness to develop new workflow functionality within its Supplier Performance Management (SPM) module. The new functionality will enable rigorous management of supplier corrective action requests, delivering a unique process automation capability that will serve the entire automotive industry supply chain.
