Final Countdown to Horizon 2014 Begins
PRINCETON, NJ NOVEMBER 4, 2014 – Zycus, a world leader in Procurement Technology solutions across the source-to-pay cycle, is finalizing preparations for its third annual Horizon procurement performance and networking event to be held this year in Amelia Island, Florida, beginning on Sunday, November 9.
A big enhancement for this year’s event is the just-released Horizon mobile app, which is now available and free for all attendees to download and utilize on both iOS and Android mobile devices throughout the event. Aside from being an environmentally friendly way for Zycus to communicate important event information to Horizon attendees, the app features means for participants to:
- Share their impressions, ideas and event photos.
- Forge new business networking connections using Twitter-like feeds.
- Follow, like and comment on other attendees’ feeds.
- Shop the event’s agenda, select sessions and receive relevant notifications and reminders.
- Navigate physically around the event floor plan.
- Favourite event speakers and provide session feedback to Zycus.
The event also offers dedicated time-slots of networking sessions for the attendees to interact with peers and analysts.
Horizon 2014 will also feature the second annual Zycus Customer Awards, which will take place Monday evening as participants relax and network at the event’s big Beach Party. Awards will be bestowed in five procurement performance and technology implementation-focused categories: Enterprise Impact, Ace Organization Adoption, High Performing Procurement Leader, Strategic Partnership and Rising Procurement Hero.
The event also offers dedicated time-slots of networking sessions for the attendees to interact with peers and analysts. These sessions offer a quality discussion time apart from the usual networking opportunities during breaks, luncheons and dinners.
