At Horizon Europe 2024, Aatish Dedhia – Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Zycus, unveiled Zycus’ long-term strategy for Deep Value Procurement AI, showcasing how Gen AI, automation, and AI-driven agents are set to redefine procurement efficiency and decision-making.
Zycus has been a pioneer in AI-driven procurement, launching AI-powered spend analytics in 2002. Now, with Merlin AI, the company is taking procurement innovation further, introducing intelligent contract management, accounts payable automation, and sourcing optimization.
A key highlight was the introduction of Agentic AI, which moves beyond automation into decision-driven workflows. The Autonomous Negotiation Agent (ANA) was showcased as a game-changer for tail spend management, allowing real-time supplier negotiations and cost savings at scale.
The session also introduced Merlin Intake Manager, an AI-powered conversational interface that guides business users effortlessly through procurement processes. With Zycus’ commitment to AI research, Microsoft partnerships, and AI Council insights, the company is leading the charge in Deep Value Procurement AI, ensuring AI-driven cost efficiency, compliance, and strategic impact.
