Heineken's Hervé Le Faou, Chief Procurement Officer, wins the High Performing Procurement Leader Award at Zycus Horizon 2021

New Jersey, April 7 2021: Heineken, a leading brewer with presence across more than 70 countries was represented at Zycus’ flagship event, Horizon 2021, by two of their senior-most procurement leaders, Hervé Le Faou, Chief Procurement Officer and Ruth Bromley, Director Procurement Enablement. While Ruth presented on, ‘The Game Changer Approach: Using Technology as a Catalyst to Unlock Procurement’s Value’ highlighting their procurement transformation journey, Hervé won the High Performing Procurement Leader Award for the year.

Zycus hosted the conference at a global level in a state-of-the-art virtual format on February 17th and 18th, 2021. The event saw 1032+ participants from 22 countries representing 531 companies and hosted over 20 speaking sessions. The event received tremendous positive feedback with a 4.7 average rating out of 5 for the event.

Hervé Le Faou won the High Performing Procurement Leader Award for his leadership skills, expertise, innovation, and success at transforming the procurement department at Heineken. Hervé attributed his success to the procurement, finance, and technology teams at Heineken, who were together responsible for the project’s success. “At Heineken, we have now been working with the Zycus team for nearly 5 years and we have come a long way together on our digitalization journey. I am proud to lead our Heineken procurement teams bringing together our central and local teams with everyone using the first truly global platform in our business in 75 markets”, said Hervé as he accepted the award.

Heineken’s Ruth Bromley, Director, Procurement Enablement, delivered a very insightful and detailed presentation on Heineken’s procurement transformation journey and their learnings from the same. The presentation highlighted Heineken’s journey as they built and deployed the solution across 70 countries and globally standardized the procurement process over the years. Heineken’s journey towards global digitalization has been designed to be achieved by enhancing the system and processes by leveraging Zycus’ Source-to-Pay suite, differentiating products like Merlin AI Suite and iLogix along with fresh user experience, DewDrops. Additionally, Heineken achieved the milestones as per timelines with quick deployment and rapid integration through Zycus’ iSaaS approach. The session received tremendous feedback and engagement from the attendees.
